Please ensure devices are updated to the latest version before testing to avoid issues encountered that were fixed by Apple in iPadOS version 13.2.2+. Also, Apple recently introduced a new feature called Voice Control that must be disabled before testing. This feature is turned off by default. Guidance on how to disable this feature, if enabled, is available in the Configurations for iOS Devices guide under Technical Resources for Technology Coordinators. Added January 9, 2020 ELPA21 Summative Paper and Braille Materials to Arrive in Districts by January 21, 2020 Initial orders consisting of paper, large print, and braille materials for the ELPA21 Summative will arrive in districts by January 21, 2020 . The quantity of paper and braille materials your district will receive is automatically calculated based upon the number of students uploaded in TIDE by November 12, 2019 . An additional order window will open January 22, 2020 where the Help Desk can intake orders for students enrolled in your district after November 12, 2019 . Please note that the summative assessment no longer uses the K-1 Writing Supplement. The Writing domain will consist of all machine-scored items for Kindergarten and Grade 1. The updated Writing domain results will still provide you with the same data and information as in previous years. If materials do not arrive by these dates, please contact the Iowa ELPA21 Help Desk . Added January 6, 2020 Orders for Paper Materials for the ELPA21 Summative Assessment TIDE is now back online, and the ELPA21 Summative Assessment window will be open from February 4, 2020 through March 27, 2020 . Please review this brief summary of the minor changes enacted for the 2019-20 ELPA21 Summative. The quantity of paper and large print materials your district receives will be determined by the number of eligible students uploaded in TIDE that indicate the need for accommodated ELPA21 assessment materials. Please upload all relevant student information and test settings to TIDE by November 12, 2019 to ensure delivery to districts prior to the start of the Summative test window. An additional order window will open on January 22, 2020 for orders consisting of paper, large print, and braille materials for any students who enrolled in your district after the November 12 cut-off for initial orders. Orders placed during the additional order window will be extracted and shipped daily. Added November 4, 2019 Reminder: The Online Reporting System will be Retired on October 31, 2019 This is a reminder that all student results will be reported on AIRWays Reporting after October 31, 2019, and the Online Report System (ORS) will no longer be available to users after this date. Districts and schools can administer the Screener to students while TIDE is offline, if those students were added to TIDE prior to the TIDE downtime.
